Hello beautiful people,

I'm currently reading the sequel to: The Girl in 6E. If you haven't heard anything about it, please go read the synopsis. I also have a review you can read! :)

I am so excited to be reading this. I loved the first book and for some reason it took me forever to pick this up. I've owned it since the release but I just never got around to it. I've been reading a little here and there. I've been working so much so that's really all I have time for. Lets hope my schedule clears up and I can drown myself in books! Read the synopsis of do not disturb here.

Happy reading! xx

Most of you may not know but I love reading on my nook! Before I joined the bookstagram community, that's the only place I read on. Everything on there's very affordable, and it's convenient to one click buy a book and pretend it never happened. Which I did often. Haha. After joining the amazing bookstagram community my nook has been dusty and unloved. My poor baby hasn't received any attention and my wallet cries on a daily from the amount of physical books I buy.

Then Oyster reached out to me. Oyster is an app and e-book subscription for as little as $9.95 a month. They offer so many amazing free books exclusively for members, also discounted books that are yours to keep. If you're hesitant (which you should not be because they're great) they have a free 14 day trial. I already have an introduction to Oyster blog post. If you missed it, click on the hearts.  ♥ ♥

Oyster is astonishing! I love that it is a better combination of Netflix and Goodreads! There is an endless amount of books for members. You may also add friends, and see what each other is reading. It's fantastic! You have nothing to lose by trying the free app, but so much more to gain! The app is beautiful, modern, and extremity easy to use. You won't have to worry about your elders interrupting your reading for help. It caters to all ages with its simplicity. Oyster also has the biggest variety of books to choose from. Not only are most of them extremely affordable, but there are so many incredible FREE books exclusively for members! I love that the app includes a huge variety of genre's including New Adult! Take a peep at my Young Adult reading list: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

  • Presentation? See the beauty for yourself. I think I've said enough! ;) Oyster App♥
  • Performance: It's a five star. I've read two books and have no problem. The app is fast, and never lags. It hasn't crashed on me and I hope it never does. I much prefer Oyster than nook or kindle.
  • Options: There is a bunch!! Turning the page isn't by swiping left or right but by up or down. If you don't like that and much rather prefer the horizontal swipe mode you can change it. The screen preferences, and lighting is awesome! There are so many different choices: night mode, brightness adjustment, text size options, text font option. It also has their new lighting option: Lumin, which automatically adjust the light on your device as the sun sets in your location. It's a better reading experience at night and improves the comfort of my eyes while reading on the screen. I'm no longer straining my eyes and they never feel heavy after staring at the screen for hours.
  • Customer Service: Perfect. I've had the pleasure of working with Andie from their Customer Experience team. She's answered all of my questions with great detail. I'm sure the rest of the Oyster team is just as great! Thank you to the Oyster team for creating a magnificent reading experience for me. You are all killing it.

Oyster wins every aspect for me. I hope to see you all on the app. Happy reading!!

Disclaimer: I am in collaborated with Oyster. In no way does that alter my opinion!!

Title: Throne of Glass
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Genre: Young Adult, High Fantasy
Rating: 5 | 5 !!!!!

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

I was scared starting this. I already had such high expectations from it I didn't want to be disappointed. Finally after years of hearing people rave about it: I caved. And it was the best decision I've ever made. Sarah J. Maas writes such an addictive story. The book reads so smooth, and even though there isn't much action eighty percent of the time, it's okay. The whole book is pretty much an introduction to the world, and series. The transition to understand the world is done so well, she did not cram a bunch of information at once. You don't need an imagination to read this. The Author paints the picture for you.

I'm obsessed with the main character. She's such a badass. She's cocky, confident, but never arrogant. I also love her personality. She tries to make the best out of every situations and never gives up! She's extremely open minded, and positive, even when something negative is thrown her way.

I'm not even going to talk about the boys because it's just going to break my heart. I decided not to pick, and I'll just love them both. This is not cheating...

I am extremely impressed with this book, and I can't believe I didn't listen to the hype sooner! I really wish I read this as soon as it came out. I love everything about this book. Throne of Glass will have you swooning, scared, and sleep deprived. I can't wait to continue the rest of the series, and I truly hope you guys listen to the hype. It's definitely every good thing you've heard.

Hi my lovely friends,

The amazing Kelly @YAfantasyfan held a giveaway on Twitter. She was giving away a hardcover ARC copy of Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. GUESS WHO WON? ME! It's so rare that I ever win anything. When she announced the winner, I was out with friends. I couldn't stop my body, it started to convulse. Naturally doing my favorite dance: The Chandler.

Below I'll post some info about the book, and authors!
Release Date: October 20th, 2015
Genre: Sci-Fi, Dystopia
Synopsis:
This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do.

This afternoon, her planet was invaded.

The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again.

Told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents—including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews, and more—Illuminae is the first book in a heart-stopping, high-octane trilogy about lives interrupted, the price of truth, and the courage of everyday heroes.

Hi Friends,

I've recently collaborated with Oyster. It is an amazing app for book worms like us, think of the barnes and noble nook app, or the kindle app but WAY BETTER. Here are a few facts about it:

What is Oyster?
- Oyster is an app for discovering and reading books on your smartphone, tablet, or web browser. Read books instantly and you can even read them offline.
- Get spot-on recommendations based on what you like to read.
- Feel free to mention some of the your favorite books available on Oyster Unlimited!
- Their newest feature, Lumin is a revolutionary advancement for reading on smartphones and tablets, and it’s only available on Oyster. Studies show that nighttime reading on devices that emit blue light can suppress our bodies’ production of melatonin, keeping us awake and making us less alert the next morning. Based on your location and the time of day, Lumin reduces the blue light coming from your screen as the day turns into night.

Oyster Unlimited
- Oyster Unlimited is $9.95 a month for access to over 1 million titles, and new books are added every day. First-time readers can start a free trial by heading to oysterbooks.com/join.

The Store
- Want to read a book not in subscription? No problem. You can buy a book on our site and read it on the Oyster app in seconds. Books you purchase are yours forever.

________________

So far my experience with using Oyster I love it! It's extremely easy to use, very beautiful and sleek. There's a HUGE amount of books to choose from. Not only are most of them price cut from 20-50% but there are so many books for FREE! I've already got a list of books I can't wait to dive in!

If you aren't totally sure about signing up for the monthly subscriptions that's not a problem. They have a 14 day trial option. oysterbooks.com/join

The information above is just a introduction to Oyster. A huge thank you to Andie from the Oyster team for answering all my questions and providing all the information above. She has gone above and beyond. Nook and Kindle better watch their backs.

I will be doing a review on the App after a week or so of using it :) Happy reading!!

Title: P.S I still love you
Author: Jenny Han
Genre: Contemporary, Young Adult
Rating: 5 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review: BOOK #1 Review - To all the boys I've loved before

I can understand why a lot of people didn't like this book. But at the same time those things that pissed them off and annoyed them made me love it. I think there needs to be some flaws with books for them to be perfect. Lara Jean was extremely whiny in the beginning. Which in her case in understandable. She's sixteen, naive and very inexperienced when it comes to love. Jenny Han captures that age and personality perfectly.

She's a phenomenal a writer that leaves nothing to your imagination. She makes sure everything is detailed enough to flow out the page and before your eyes. She writes the most romantic boys ever. I didn't think I could fall in love with Peter more but I did. He has this charm, but a bad boy protective edge to him. He's blunt as hell, and how much he loves Kitty is heart warming.

I could probably go on for years about him but I won't. I loved the plot of the story, the dilemmas they hit along the way, they handle it exactly as it is to be handled.

The reaction and everything flows so well with the story. Some say what they went through is unnecessary but I highly disagree. For them to grow and be in a loving, trusting, and committed relationship they needed that bump. It tested them and their reactions to it shows a lot. Lara Jean really grows in this book. By the end she isn't that young naive girl. She's done and experienced more while she's gotten close to Peter than before. She's living.

I hope everyone reads this. If you've read the first, I'm sure you'll love it. I love that it took time, everything progressed naturally and nothing was rushed. We got all the answers we could need, but of course, I'm a reader and selfish, so I want more! ;)  I highly recommend it, and hope you fall madly in love with it!

Title: Of Poseidon
Author: Anna Banks
Genre: Young Adult, Romance, Fantasy (Mermaids)
Rating: 4 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

Anna Banks is addicting. Her writing is phenomenal, clear, and extremely fun. It's like I'm invisible watching her book play out in front of me. I loved it, every second.

Our main character Emma is hard headed, but I like that about her. Even though it gets her into trouble some times she's learns from it. The book is extremity fun, and I loved learning about this whole new world, and "creatures" in the ocean.

Everything is explained so easily. I loved the relationship between all the characters! Galen and Emma are extremely cute, I just wish it wasn't instal-love with them. That their love took a bit more to grow, but it's okay because they're so cute and perfect. I highly suggest everyone check this book out. It's my first Mermaid book and I love it! It didn't completely captivate me which is why I can't give it five stars but it kept me on my toes. A perfect story with humor, romance, and a great mix of characters!

Title: Breathe
Author: Abbi Glines
Genre: Young Adult, Romance
Rating: 3 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

This wasn't a terrible book where I couldn't read it. Surprisingly it is very addictive, but then I shouldn't be surprised because it's Abbi right? I have a love and hate relationship for these characters. Everything just seems convenient for them. Every dilemma immediately had a solution, and the characters are (and don't hate me for saying this) extremely annoying and stupid!! I read this because I've heard so much amazing hype around this book. I had no hesitation going in because.. Well it's Abbi Glines. She's a go to Author of mine.

Sadie is so young and naive. Extremely clingy, and jealous.. Not my kind of girl. The kind of girl I'd not want to be friends with honestly. Because what comes with clingy and jealous girls is a lot of bitching. Yup, there was lots of that in the book. Now don't get me wrong the book wasn't all bad. Lots of parts were lovely. I really liked most of the book, but now that's been a month since I've read the book I honestly cannot remember much.. I hate that I can only remember the parts I did not like..

Do not stray away from this book because of my Review. Mine is only one in a million. Keep in mind this is one of Abbi Glines early books.  There are so many other people out there that love this, and I hope you give this book a chance. Who knows maybe you'll love it.
