Title: To All The Boys I've Loved Before
Author: Jenny Han
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary
Rating: 5 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

I’m not usually a fan of contemporary.. I just always find it to be lacking. To me, I need the build up, the rush. I need my heart to beat until I feel like it’s going to stammer out of my chest. I want the chocking feeling in the back of my throat where I cry and sob. And pretty much everything I want contemporary books can never fulfill. February has been such a disappointing reading month for me. My two go-to-authors have disappointed me. When I started this book I was skeptical.. It’s contemporary, and you already know how I feel about that, I am already having a bad reading month, and I’ve read so many iffy reviews I didn’t wanna waste anymore time with mediocre books.

Jenny Han proved me wrong. I have found a new found love and respect for the easy light, fluffy contemporary books. From now on, I will look at them so different and will never hesitate to dive into the the unknown. I’m so happy I went through with reading it.

I can understand the controversy about Lara Jean. Personally, I loved her character. She’s complex and different. She acted exactly her age, and she was hilarious. I loved feeling the butterflies in my stomach, giggling and blushing. It was such a good feeling.

Over all, I really really love the book. I love the plot. I love the ending. I love the characters. I love Peter. The drama and angst, it was all the perfect amount. Very balanced. I highly recommend every one check this out. It’s written beautifully. It read off like lyrics on a page, smooth. I can’t wait for the second one. I hope it’s just as good as the first.

Title: Beautiful Redemption
Author: Jamie McGuire
Genre: Adult, Romance
Rating: 3.5 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

Lets talk a bit shall we? I expected so much more for this book. Being a huge Jamie McGuire fan I had a lot of expectations, and they are always met when it comes to her. She’s my go to Author. Beautiful Redemption had the wit, love, steamy steamy moments, and most definitely the angst but way too much freaking angst. There’s a point in a book where the chase gets to be too much. Where the characters cross a line in my eyes from cute, to annoying. The writing is just as amazing. That will never disappoint me. The plot and the character is such a huge problem for me.

I am the biggest Thomas Maddox fan there probably is. Out of all the boys Thomas has always been my favorite. When he was mentioned in the end of Walking Disaster I knew I loved him then. He's the oldest, responsible, hottest Maddox. And wears a suit and tie on a daily. Like how can you not fall all over that? Thomas is everything I ever thought he’d be plus 100x more. He’s sweet, affectionate, and prickly. He has the perfect edge. I loved learning about his past (mother/family), what happened with Cami from his point of view.

From the beginning to the middle it was ah-may-zing! I couldn’t stop blushing and giggling, I felt like a middle schooler with her first crush. It was adorable, sweet, and then it started to cross a line.. The line of annoyance: repetitive fights, in decisiveness, and stupidity. I thought I loved the main character like I loved Abby and Cami, but nope. I do not, she is one huge no in my book. She started off cool, and bad ass and didn’t take any bullshit. I loved that about all her, and all the other girls. They all have similar characteristics but are so distinctly different. Their voice, mannerism. It's all unique to their self. BUT Liis is so whiny and jealous. I understand jealousy to an extent especially in their situation. If the man has told you/showed you plenty of time there is nothing to be jealous about... BELIEVE HIM. She drove me nuts and created so much unnecessary drama and pain for the two of them.

I liked the plot and how everything played out. It's hard to love it because of my lack off connection and strong dislike to the main character. I did love Thomas though. He was just as perfect as I imagined his character to me. Completely gorgeous, strong, loyal and flawless. I think I was only able to get through the book because of Thomas, and Travis. The little mentions and cameos of the other characters.  I didn't feel any connection, but a pleasant read. I hope you guys all have better luck than me when it comes to this. That you enjoy Liis, happy reading. xx

Title: Never Never
Author: Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher
Genre: Young Adult, Mystery, Thriller, #Mindfuck
Rating: 5 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads || I highly suggest you DO NOT read the synopsis. Keep your knowledge of this book to a minimum. It's so great to go into this blind.

Review:
WoOoooOoooah!! My mind is still reeling from what I've read. I'll repeat what I said above: I highly suggest you don't read the synopsis. Keep your knowledge of this book to a minimum. It's so great to go into this blind, and I believe the book overall with have a better impact! I've never read anything by Tarryn Fisher. I own her Best Selling book Mud Veins which I now plan to pick up soon. Colleen Hoover, if you've been following me long, you know I've read pretty much all her books, and love them!

I am so impressed with Never Never. I was thrown into this world that was confusing and all consuming. So many things happening at once. The writing is exquisite. Tarryn Fisher is writing the girl's point of view (Charlie) and Colleen Hoover is writing the guy's (Silas). Both characters are so wildly different. (I can't explain, the less I say the better. For you at least.) I will say: I love Silas. I wish I had someone like him while I was in high school. He's so supportive, charming, and sweet.

"I want to remember what it feels like to love someone like that. And not just anyone. I want to know what it feels like to love charlie."

Over all, this is a wonderful read! It's so entertaining and mind bending. You're hooked from the first page and I promise you won't put this book down. I can't wait until the second book. Never Never ended with my jaw dragging on the ground. It's the perfect mystery-thriller with a smidgen of romance. A perfectly balance book. I highly recommend this! I wish you all the best and hope you love it just as much as I do! Happy reading loves. xx

Title: Wicked
Author: Jennifer Armentrout
Genre: New Adult Paranormal
Rating: 3.5 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:
It took me about two weeks to read this. To me, that’s a mighty long time. Especially when it is a book by your favorite Author and one you were very excited to read. When I heard Jennifer Armentrout was coming out with a New Adult Paranormal, I flipped. I was so excited, I love her New Adult book: Wait for you and her Paranormal: Lux Series. I immediately thought Wait for you + Lux Series = Best book of the freaking century.  It’s partly my fault why I didn’t love it.  Before even reading the book I gave it took much praise in my head, I’ve hyped it up too much. As I was reading, my expectations weren’t being met, thus leading to my disappointment.

This story line its self wasn’t disappointing. It’s interesting, and bad ass actually. The characters are awesome. I love Ivy and completely feel for her, the pain she’s endured. She’s such a fearless character, which in paranormal is dangerous. When you’re fearless, you’re reckless, and that she was. I loved Ren and his emerald green guys, his way with words, and just how honest he was. He was  domineering but not in a suffocating, scary way. He’s funny, witty, and has everything a male Jennifer Armentrout hottie would have.

What I found to be disappointing was my lack of connection to Ivy, and uncertainty of their love. The writing, didn't convince me, so I didn’t love it or feel anything. When something that was suppose to be painful and heart wrenching happened it was like wind blowing by. Also, I felt like a lot of the “little” clues were too much. By the end of the book when it all unraveled I knew what the big secret was, and the plot twist before it was even told. Don’t let my review steer you away from the book. It was so very enjoyable, entertaining and cute. I highly suggest you go read the book and make your own judgement. Can’t wait for book two!
