Title: The Fill-In Boyfriend
Author: Kasie West
Genre: Young Adult, FREAKING CUTE AND SWOONY
Rating: 5 | 5 !!

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

I  could not wait to write a review. There's just something about Kasie West's books that always have me from the first page. She writes such a captivating book, and keeps you hooked until the very last word. Kasie West is a phenomenal Author. She has such a smooth and vivid writing style. She turns her readers into the main character. You feel their pain, selfishness, and happiness. Her words are powerful.

The main characters are extremely relatable especially in the society we live in now. This wasn't the fairy tale love story where they meet an start to fall in love. It was a slow progression of love.
  • Gia, our main character is shallow, and self centered in the beginning, but never to the point where she is unbearable. She's real and a fantastic main character, she definitely developed a lot in the ended and became a better person. She lied, and did some wrong things to get where she was at the end but she made it right in the end. I loved the character growth in her, and how it's so subtle, but packs such a punch to when you think about her in the beginning and end.
  • Fill-In-Bradley will make you swoon! He's incredibly sweet, and caring. Such an over all perfect guy. He's the gentlemen you'd want your daughter to fall in love with. He has that boyish crazy hair, with the cute dazzling smile. I promise you'll be wooing before you hit page 30!
"My preference is simple - you."

I've read a lot of books with the "fake boyfriend" topic but never was it done like this. This book has the perfect plot, dilemmas, and characters. Kasie West books are a breath of fresh air to me. I never enjoyed contemporaries too much. They were to happy-sappy for me. Until I read her books, something about them are different from the others. The story lines are always different, the plot, and characters are always unique and are easily differentiated. I highly recommend this and mystery boy!! ;) I hope you enjoy and love it as much as I did!

Happy reading xx

Title: Fall With Me
Author: Jennifer Armentrout
Genre: Adult Romance
Rating: 3 | 5

Synopsis: Goodreads

Review:

Jennifer Armentrout has always delivered more than I expected. I loved her books beyond belief but recently that started to go down. I started to notice how similar each book was, the male characters were so generic. Their traits, are all the same: bad boy who used to be a player and badass, but is really sensitive. I don't know I haven't been able to enjoy any of her books the way I used to when I started to notice it all.. The stories seem very cliche. Roxy is my least favorite character. She's oblivious, and so stupid. It's obvious the guy is in love with you, why are you running away? Why are you mad over something that didn't happen. It's the typical Adult Romance. I really just did not like this at all. I could go on for days but I won't.

I truly hope you guys have a different experience than what I had. That you love it, and enjoy it. Her writing is still the same witty, sarcastic filled girl. But that's also the problem. The female characters are all so similar.

If you choose to read it, enjoy!

Hi Loves,

Three weeks ago I made an attempt to make the most unique book marks in the world. Of course it was not my own original creation, but simply inspired by the work of Olena. Olena is a Etsy shop owner residing in Ukraine. She's the loveliest lady I've ever spoken to. She's incredibly sweet and helpful. After spending ten dollars, and cutting off legs of barbies I've finished my "inspired" version of Olenas bookmarks. It was a complete disaster my friends. I highly suggest just going on her shop and purchasing it from her. It'll save you the time and headache! The quality of her book marks are extremely amazing. The actual part inserted into the book is made of Metal, the legs are hand crafted (sculpt, and painted) by the owner herself.

I won't even humiliate myself by showing you my DIY of her bookmark. LOL, but I'll let her work speak for its self. Because they truly do, these pictures don't even do justice to how stunning they are in person.

Wanna learn more about the lady behind the most unique bookmarks? Follow her links :)

HELLO!

I didn't think it'll be this short until we spoke again! ;) Today, I'm so stoked to talk about two books I got from the lovely Author Rachel Morgan!! The first book is a New Adult Contemporary Romance called The Trouble With Flying and the second is The Faerie Guardian. Even though I am a sucker for Romance and cute boys I am way more excited about the Faerie book. I've been going through this huge Paranormal binge and it's a phase I don't ever want to end.

The Trouble With Flying synopsis:
When nineteen-year-old introvert Sarah boards a plane to fly home after an overseas holiday, the last thing she expects is Aiden, the guy sitting next to her who's never flown anywhere before and refuses to shut up. Hours of random conversation later, they part ways. Sarah can't stop thinking about Aiden, though, and wondering if she made a terrible mistake letting him go. Should she abandon her safe, predictable life and go in search of him, or would she be chasing a happily ever after that could never exist in real life?

The Faerie Guardian synopsis:
Protecting humans from dangerous magical creatures is all in a day’s work for a faerie training to be a guardian. Seventeen-year-old Violet Fairdale knows this better than anyone—she’s about to become the best guardian the Guild has seen in years. That is, until a cute human boy who can somehow see through her faerie glamor follows her into the Fae realm. Now she’s broken Guild Law, a crime that could lead to her expulsion.

The last thing Vi wants to do is spend any more time with the boy who got her into this mess, but the Guild requires that she return Nate to his home and make him forget everything he’s discovered of the Fae realm. Easy, right? Not when you factor in evil faeries, long-lost family members, and inconvenient feelings of the romantic kind. Vi is about to find herself tangled up in a dangerous plot—and it’ll take all her training to get out alive.

If you're just in awe as I am, follow the links here to buy the books, or check out the Author's site :)

Hiiiii!

It's been so long since I've chatted with you all. I usually only post when it's a book review and that's pretty much it. I don't really have much time to blog. It's been a hectic new year between my job, looking for a house and moving, and traveling. There has been so much other nonsense. It's been a while and it feels so nice to be typing and talking to you all. I am well, and I hope you're all happy and healthy!

Runaway Cart Publishing is a new up and coming publishing company. The first book they have ever published is Hollow Planet by Andrew Tolan! They were so kind so send a me a book to share with you all and review.

Here's some of the synopsis:

"After the death of his beloved father, Daniel’s life has never exactly become that of a typical teenager. He essentially home schooled himself and maintains a full time job at the local store. Additionally, he is forced to raise his younger sister since his mother made her social life a crutch to dealing with the loss of her husband. Daniel would love nothing more than to have a normal teen-age life — and to have his dad back. However, Daniel's despondent life would now become quite peculiar the day he meets a link to his father: a man by the name of Sef. Sef explains to Daniel the truth behind this world. He warns that Earth is in a downward spiral with an unfavorable ending. Daniel learns he can help save the planet from an impending danger, but only if he picks up where his father left off...."

I know, I know you're interested and now you wanna read it. You can join me this month and buddy read with me! Just direct message me on instagram (@alluringtales) or below to let me know! I cannot wait, and I hope I can enjoy this with one of you!
