I saw the leaked trailer the day it came out, and I weeped like a little girl. I know plenty of people were saying they didn't want to watch it because they felt it was disrespectful.

SO FOR THOSE WHO WAITED, GOOD FOR YOU!
THE WAIT IS NOW OVER, BY TOMORROW THIS TIME.
YOU TOO WILL BE CRYING LIKE A LITTLE BITCH GIRL :D

Title: Fangirl
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Genre: New Adult
Rating: ****/5

Synopsis:

Review:

In the beginning I found this book to be a bit of a snore. Now before you all start jumping down my throats let me explain why. I'm pretty much used to reading books that are fast paced where two individuals meet, fall in love, and bam the book is over. This was not one of those books, and once I finally got a little less than half way I realize it was a wonderful thing. Because the book had so much patience I got to feel Cath. Connect to her, relate, which made the rest of the book so much more wonderful. There's romance in this story, not between her and Levi but with herself. Through out the story with the help of Levi and Reagan, Cath was slowly able to believe she was good enough, she was able to love her self more than she did before! Cath becomes stronger, less awkward and more confident in herself.  And Handsome boy Levi.. Who said chivalry is dead? Because it's obviously not.. Well only in this world.. I'm not even going to say any more about Levi, because I'd rather you all go read the book and find out for yourself why he's so perfect.
I'm extremely disappointed in myself, and I'm going to apologize right now to Rainbow Rowell. Ms. Rowell, if you ever end up reading this, Hello hope you're well and I'm sorry. Because I bought your amazing book in November and didn't read it until January..
I wasn't completely hooked on the book when I first started reading it but when I turned the last page (before I knew it was the last page) and I saw the words "acknowledgements" My heart sped up, my eyes grew big, and I pulled the book to my chest, whispering "..But I want more.." And the I reread it again that night. This is an extremely well written book, with the most amazing characters. I promise you will not lose anything, but you will gain a lot from reading this.

I don't have words to explain how profoundly important these books are to me.
There's love, death, mystery, and self growth.

Say Goodnight, Gracie - Julie Reece Deaver
Synopsis:
Morgan and Jimmy were kids together, whirling around the porch on hot summer days. They've been friends forever, and by now they know each other inside out. They do everything together—from cutting high school to go into the city to coaching each other at dance auditions and acting workshops. They even argue well. A perfect friendship. Best friends. For life. So how could life be so right and then be so wrong? After a terrible accident, Morgan suddenly has to face life alone. Without Jimmy around, though, it's like the best part of her has died. How could he do this to her? And why is love so hard?

Don't die, My love - Lurlene McDaniel
Synopsis:
Julie Ellis and Luke Muldenhower have always been school sweethearts. Now both are in high school and deeply in love. Luke, a talented football player, is almost certain to receive an athletic scholarship to a top college. And no matter what her parents say, wherever Luke goes, Julie intends to follow. When Luke can't shake what he thinks is a virus, Julie persuades him to see a doctor. Luke's test results are alarming, but Julie believes their love is stronger than anything. Can love survive, now and forever?

Kissed by an Angel - Elizabeth Chandler
Synopsis:
When her boyfriend, Tristan, died, Ivy thought she'd lost everything, even her faith in angels. But now she's discovered that he's her guardian angel — his presence so strong that she can feel the touch of his hand, the beat of his heart. Ivy needs Tristan now more than ever because he knows she's in terrible danger. Only Ivy's guardian angel can save her now that his killer is after her. But if Tristan rescues Ivy, his mission on earth will be finished, and he must leave her behind forever. Will saving Ivy mean losing her just when he's finally reached her again?

Genre: New Adult     Pages: 302 with excerpts of Be with me

Synopsis: Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Review:
5 out of 5
This story is extremely well written. I found myself laughing, tearing, obnoxiously smiling, and blushing. The love story between Avery and Cam is so heartwarming and beautiful. They are so special, both together and separately. The story played like a movie in my head, each word popping out the screen and coming alive. Including the characters they were so vibrant, and the description of the settings is so vivid. I found myself believing I was Avery and in West Virginia and I fell in love with Cam. I was hooked from the moment I read the first page, I couldn't stop reading, and I finished it in one sitting. I most definitely recommend this book to a friend, stranger, or anyone who loves Young love.
But behind the beauty of their love story is something much deeper and darker. So much more is happening in this book than two souls colliding and falling in love. The Author J.Lynn brings on some pretty heavy topics in the story; rape, self harm, violence, bullying and isolation. Such taboo topics people do not talk about, she brings to life, the topics people ignore every day. It isn't too heavy where it weighs down the book and that's all its about. It gives the book it's difference and edge. To sum it up, if you have a smart phone, nook, kindle, a car or any way of transportation. Go buy the book, it's a beautiful story of self recovery, love, and moving forward. Can't wait to read the second book!

Thank you so much Ms. J.Lynn for sharing Cam and Avery with us!
